Did you know the Aubrey Fire Department is relocating Fire Station 2 to better serve communities like Arrowbrooke and Savannah?
The Aubrey Fire Department has announced the relocation of Fire Station 2 to a more strategic position on Winn Ridge Blvd, just west of FM1385. This carefully selected site aims to enhance services for the residents of Winn Ridge, Arrowbrooke, and Savannah, with an anticipated opening in 2025.
Situated a mere three streets north of the Arrowbrooke neighborhood, the station offers a direct route south on FM 1385 for the Savannah community. By bypassing the congestion of Highway 380 during rush hour, response times are significantly expedited, ensuring swifter assistance in emergencies. Currently, Little Elm Fire Station 3, located on Navo Rd, contends with similar challenges stemming from Highway 380 traffic.
In critical situations where every second counts, prioritizing the fastest response and travel times is paramount for optimal outcomes. Consider this: a fire within your home can double in size every 30 seconds, while cardiac arrest can lead to irreversible consequences like brain damage in just six minutes. With response times projected at approximately three and six minutes respectively for the Arrowbrooke and Savannah communities, this relocation promises to greatly enhance the safety of your loved ones and substantially improve the likelihood of positive outcomes during times of crisis.
